Practical Drone Pilot Course
Learn to select a new UAV equipment, use of applications for flight plans, risk management, configuration of the UAV with its remote control, know the maps with its airspace restrictions, regulations for sUAS based on 14 CFR Part 107, manual use of the camera for the exhibition, carry out practical exercises to request authorizations and their first flights with the sUAS.
Introduction
This course presents the new trends with drone technology, learn about its benefits, learn to select a new UAV equipment according to the services it will offer, evaluating its return on investment, manage administrative application, use of applications for flight plans, configuration of the equipment, use of the remote control, manual use of the camera, practical flight exercises, downloading files for basic photo or video editing via your mobile, finding out about job opportunities and developing your business. Prepare several preflight assessments, safety management risk and hazard assessments, to request authorizations or waivers and flight techniques of the sUAS. As an added value, they join the Interactive Community for more education and follow-up workshops.
Purpose
It is a course where participants meet virtually and face-to-face as an interactive community to select a location, determine feasibility and plan a flight using the best mobile applications. It includes practical configuration exercises to apply techniques with flight routines, configure your manual camera to create creative photographic and video content to show through social networks, messages, blog and Internet portals.

• Carry out practical exercises in outdoor or indoor flight sessions to increase confidence in handling the equipment by taking safety measures.

• Change the options of the multiple flight modes starting with “Beginner mode”, “Sport Mode” and “Attitude Mode”

• Review the remote control checklist, configurations, components and options
• Manual configuration, camera settings and use accessories
• Management of the application, the basic adjustments and reading indications on the screen
• Build confidence, control and perform practical exercises in flight sessions
• Master manual settings on aerial photography or video shooting

Dates and Duration:
The logistics of the mixed course include six sessions of educational interaction (four virtual and two face-to-face) with a total duration of 22 contact hours. Additionally, it includes a web portal with 20 practical exercises that are equivalent to more than 10 days (>40 hours) preparing several preflight assessments, safety management risk and hazard assessments, configurations and flight techniques of the sUAS. As an added value, they join the Interactive Community for more education and follow-up workshops.
