Photogrammetry with Drones

Participate in the practical course on photogrammetry with drones using artificial intelligence and telemetry.  Currently these unmanned vehicles generate the capture of photographs for the industries of agriculture, architecture, surveying, construction, hydrography, engineering and surveying. The applications used allow the delivery of multiple reports with the information used by professionals for decision making, project management, action points, handling situations such as evaluating the return on investment. These sUAS use RTK modules for high precision, mobile station use, checkpoints and high resolution cameras.

Introduction

This workshop presents fundamental information to apply the techniques on the use of drones, flight plans, authorization requests, such as the use of study applications that generate reports with the information obtained by the images using RTK modules for high precision, use of the mobile station with GPS, control points and high resolution cameras.

Photogrammetry is a process where drones produce aerial surveys of digital photographs by means of cameras with high resolution by measurement applying the use of techniques, mission programming, selection of the study element with its area, interpretation of photographic images and flights with autonomous movements using artificial intelligence.  With the collected images they are processed on a computer to be imported into a  application to generate reports with information and images of topographic maps, of ortho mosaics, meshes, 2D or 3D models and point clouds and produce kml files.

This workshop includes several sessions to present the techniques with the application of the theory necessary to complete the live practice with the assistance of the mentors and direct help for the planning, production, creation of images and processing the reports with the photogrammetry models. .

This workshop includes various concepts, techniques and details to carry out excellent digital content work for your clients and the delivery of reports with detailed information.  In general, the topics included in the practical course are the following:

The logistics of the mixed course include eight educational interaction sessions (five virtual and three face-to-face) lasting 24 contact hours. Additionally, it includes a web portal with several practical exercises that are equivalent to more than 5 days (>40 hours) preparing several flight plans, manual and automatic configuration for the creation of preflight assessments, safety management risk and hazard assessments, manual configuration of the camera, sUAS flight techniques and the programming of autonomous missions.  As an added value, they join the Interactive Community for more education and follow-up workshops.
